How long will it take to receive my order(s)?
Orders are shipped within 24-48 hours after your order has been received and processed, excluding weekends. We ship via USPS and after your order has been shipped, you will receive your tracking number via email. After your order has been shipped, typically they are received within 2-3 business days. However, due to Covid19, they have been experiencing delays with shipping so your order may take longer than 2-3 days to arrive. We are working to ensure that you don't have to wait that long, but in the event that you are waiting, we apologize and we will ship your orders as fast as we can.
What is Sea Moss?
Sea Moss is a form of seaweed, a specific type of red algae. It has been part of the human diet for thousands of years and has been used to treat a variety of health conditions ranging from cough, cold, and infections to low libido, increased sex drive, and a metabolic boost. Our Wildcrafted 'Euchema Cottonii) sea moss is wildcrafted and peacefully harvested by hand from the coasts of St. Lucia. It is a mineral-dense cell-food. What's the difference between the Purple Sea Mosses and the Golden Sea Mosses?
While both share the same minerals and nutrients, so you can't go wrong with either, Chondrus Crispus and both the purple Jamaican moss and purple Euchema Cottonii is higher in Iodine and contains anthocyanins, which gives it the purple color. Those anthocyanins are what make it higher in antioxidants, higher in Iodine content, anti-inflammatory and overall contains more medicinal properties than the Euchema Cottonii (Golden Sea Moss). The purple needs to be cleaned more than the yellow and it has more of a 'Sea' smell and flavor, but once turned into a gel, and put into your smoothies, you can no longer taste or smell it.
What's the difference between the different sea mosses?
There is really no difference other than the species and the geographical areas each seaweed was cultivated in. Both are a different type of red algae but they both bare the same minerals and benefits. The euchema cottonii is more difficult to harvest depending on the season and waters from whence it grows in. The golden-colored Euchema Cottonii also contains anti-HIV properties.
How can I tell if sea moss is real?
With sea moss being of such high demand, many people are starting to sell it without the knowledge of what it is and how to come by naturally Wildcrafted sea moss. In some cases, some people are able to go. purchase sea moss from a local buyer or store within their neighborhood but there is a 90% chance that the sea moss being sold locally and in some stores are pool grown Sea Moss which is not natural nor is it as beneficial as naturally wildcrafted sea moss. Pool grown sea moss is chemically bleached and grown in salted pools to mimic the oceans therefore, in most cases, it is filled with salt, lacks the darker yellow hue, and smells like chlorine and bleach. More often, the pool grown sea moss being sold locally and in some stores is called Gracilaria and it is not wildcrafted. If your sea moss looks like any of the following images, then it is NOT real and it is pool grown.
I’ve made my sea moss gel, how do I store it?
Once your gel is made, store it in the fridge uncovered or with a lid that allows it to breathe. Sea Moss is a living organism, therefore it needs to breathe. Covering your sea moss with an airtight lid creates a breeding ground for organisms and bad bacteria to grow, which will cause the sea moss gel to spoil or go rancid. Your gel can last for up to 4 weeks in the refrigerator uncovered. If you use your gel daily, spoilage will NEVER be a concern. If you do not intend on using your gel immediately, then store it in the freezer. Make sure that your freezer is NOT set on the highest temperature, which is typically 5 (with 1 being the lowest). If your freezer is set to 3 or 4 then your jars should last without breaking or cracking as we have tested this ourselves. If you're unsure of whether your freezer is too cold, then transfer your gel to a different freezer-safe container and store it until you're ready to use it. We do not replace gels if they are broken or get cracked in your freezer.
How can I use my sea moss gel?
You can use your sea moss gel both internally and externally. Internally, it can be added to smoothies, teas, juices, and even made as a tea itself. It is also commonly used while cooking soups, as an oil substitute (to saute vegetables), and as a thickener in baked goods.
Externally, sea moss gel can be used on the face as a mask or on the entire body. Apply the sea moss to your skin and leave on for about 20-30 minutes and rinse off. The more you use it, you will naturally discover more ways to enjoy it while receiving optimal cell-food. Externally, sea moss is excellent and very beneficial for skin issues including psoriasis, eczema, and other skin-related issues.

I’m pregnant and/or breastfeeding. Is sea moss safe to consume for my baby?
Many expectant and nursing mothers have used sea moss gel while pregnant and/or breastfeeding and they saw no complications while doing so. In fact, many have stated that sea moss gel aided in the successful production of breast milk, giving them clearer skin and reduced stretch marks, eliminated morning sickness and many more benefits. Sea moss also eliminated many of the ailments that babies obtain after birth including spit up, colic, rash, and more.
How long does sea moss gel last in the refrigerator?
Your Euchema Cottonii gel can last for up to 3 weeks in the refrigerator uncovered and your Chondrus Crispus gel can last for up to 4 weeks when stored in the refrigerator uncovered. If you use your gel daily, spoilage will NEVER be a concern.

I placed my order over a week ago and I still have not received my tracking number?
Try checking your spam or junk folder of the email you used when ordering to make sure your tracking number is there. Most of our emails are filtered and sent to other folders, but we ship ALL orders within 24-48 hours so if your tracking number isn't there then let us know and we will resend your shipping confirmation.
Why does your shipping cost so much?
Shipping prices are directly from USPS and unfortunately for you and us both, they can and have been changing them periodically for some time now and whenever they want to, which affects us both. We have considered other shipping options but when it comes down to it, they turned out to be the best option for now. As we continue to streamline our business we will eventually figure out a way to offer you shipping at more affordable prices but for now, shipping prices are fixed prices from USPS.com.
I checked my tracking and it's not giving me any more updates what should I do?
Contact USPS by calling them and providing them with your tracking number. If they ask you for specific information, tell them that the sender sent your package in a Priority flat rate padded envelope in which you were supposed to receive in 2-3 days. The sender's information is S.M.A.R.T Vegan located at 1415 N Loop W. Suite 100, Houston, TX 77008. This should help to expedite the process. Once your package is accepted by USPS, we are no longer in control of the situation so we advise that you contact them. We will not be reshipping any packages or products while another package is already in transit to the receiver.
What is your refund policy?
We do not offer refunds on any of our herbal blends because each blend is made specifically for the buyer and once sent out, we do not offer refunds. All other orders are eligible for a refund if you let us know within 7 days from the date you received your order. You will be asked to mail the product back to us for a full refund.
Can I pre-order and purchase ahead for the sea moss?
No. Continuously check the website as we update our stock regularly. When we receive a larger amount to place in stock, then as a subscriber you will be sent an email informing you that we have it in stock.
Can I order in bulk or purchase wholesale?
